Glucosamine is a substance that naturally occurs inhealthy joints. As dogs get older, their body seems to make less of it. It is the same thing with your body. This lower production of Glucosamine can lead to joint pain. When you give your dog Glucosamine to make up for the deficit, you are promoting healthy joints.
